Darlington Medical Centre is a Bulk Billing Practice.

Bulk billing applies 7 days a week for patients with a valid Medicare card. Private fees or gap payments may apply to some procedural items, vaccines, or other non-Medicare services. Please review our fee information on the fees page.

Services not eligible for bulk billing (private or gap fees may apply):

• Excision and biopsy

• Iron infusion

• Implanon removal and insertion

• Workplace medicals, heavy vehicle medicals, and commercial driver licence medicals

• Insurance reports and WorkCover assessments

Bulk-billed services:

• Standard Consults

• IUD (Mirena) insertion and removal

• Health assessments and care plans

• Healthy Heart Checks

• ECG, spirometry, and Doppler

• Mental Health Care Plans

• Vaccinations (some vaccinations may need to be purchased)

Payments:

• Bulk-billed appointments: No payment is required at the time of your visit.

• Procedures: Payment can be made at reception after your appointment. Alternatively, a payment request may be sent via HotDoc, and our staff can process any eligible Medicare rebate on your behalf.

• Private Patients: If you do not hold a current Medicare card, payment is required at the time of your appointment. A receipt can be provided for private health insurance reimbursement.
